Im looking for a good deal on a diamond but alot of stores do not like selling loose diamonds...I have my band and everything but the place I bought the band is trying to charge wa too much for the diamond...and Im not getting a cz

We purchased a loose diamond and the setting from a local jeweler. What is the average price to have the ring put together. The band was 970 and he said to have is set it will be 1200. Does that sound about right or too much?

I don't see why it couldn't be, but I thought I would check. Also, I am seeing lots of sites on the web selling Moissanite in loose stones and also in settings. What is the most reliable way to buy the highest quality Moissanite loose stones? Like diamonds, I am leary of making an online purchase. Are there any stores that specialize in Moissanite? Thanks!

Has anyone purchased a loose diamond from K's Merchandise? My boyfriend is considering purchasing my engagement diamond/ ring from K's. Their upgrade program seems really good. Has anyone used it?
